About X18Reviews
What is X18Reviews?
X18Reviews is a software platform that lets businesses manage their own Google Business Profile presence and customer reviews from one place. You can view your Google reviews, draft and publish replies, see supported profile and performance information, and share a neutral review link with your customers.
Who operates X18Reviews?
X18Reviews is operated by X18. Company details are on the About page.
Is X18Reviews part of Google, or affiliated with Google?
No. X18Reviews is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. It works with Google Business Profile through Google’s official APIs, using permission you grant and can revoke at any time.
What can I do with X18Reviews?
Connect your Google account, see the business profiles that account manages, read your Google reviews, draft replies with optional AI assistance, publish the replies you approve, view supported performance information, and share review links and QR codes with customers.
Connecting Google
How does X18Reviews connect to my Google account?
Through Google’s own sign-in and consent flow (OAuth). You start the connection from X18Reviews, sign in on Google’s screen, see exactly what is being requested, and decide whether to grant it. X18Reviews never sees your Google password.
What permission does X18Reviews request?
One permission only: Google’s Business Profile management scope, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage. It covers managing business listings — nothing else in your Google account. The Google Data & Permissions page explains it in detail.
Why does X18Reviews need Business Profile access?
Because that is where your listing and your reviews live. Without that permission, X18Reviews cannot show you your reviews or publish the replies you write. Every piece of data accessed maps to a feature you use.
Which profiles can X18Reviews access?
Only the business profiles your connected Google account is already authorized to manage. If your account manages three locations, X18Reviews sees those three — no more.
Can X18Reviews access a business I don’t manage?
No. Access is limited by Google to profiles your own Google account is authorized to manage. Connecting X18Reviews never unlocks anything you could not already manage in Google directly.
Can X18Reviews see my Gmail, Drive, or Calendar?
No. The single permission X18Reviews requests covers Business Profile management only. It cannot read your email, files, calendar, contacts, photos, or anything else in your Google account.
Reviews & replies
Can I view my Google reviews in X18Reviews?
Yes. Once your Google account is connected, X18Reviews shows the Google reviews for your profiles — star ratings and review text — in one place, alongside any existing replies.
Can I respond to reviews from X18Reviews?
Yes. You can write a reply, or ask for an AI-assisted draft, edit it, and publish it to Google when you are happy with it. The published reply appears on your Business Profile just as if you had replied in Google directly.
Can X18Reviews delete negative Google reviews?
No. No third-party tool can legitimately delete customer reviews — they belong to Google and the customers who wrote them. If a review violates Google’s policies, you can flag it with Google through Google’s own process; X18Reviews cannot remove it for you.
How do AI-assisted responses work?
When you ask for help with a reply, X18Reviews generates a suggested draft based on the review. You then edit it — or discard it — and nothing is published until you deliberately click Publish. You are always responsible for the final content.
Does the AI publish replies automatically?
No. The AI produces drafts only. Every published reply is one a human reviewed and deliberately chose to publish. There is no auto-posting of any kind.
Review requests
How do review requests work?
X18Reviews gives each of your profiles a neutral “Share your experience” link and QR code. You share it with customers — on a receipt, a card, a follow-up message — and it takes them to Google, where they can leave whatever review they want.
Can I use X18Reviews with multiple locations?
Yes. If your Google account manages multiple locations, X18Reviews shows them all, each with its own reviews and its own review link.
Does X18Reviews use review gating?
No. Review gating — asking customers how they feel first and only sending the happy ones to Google — violates Google’s policies, and X18Reviews does not do it. Every customer gets the same link and the same opportunity to leave a review.
Does X18Reviews filter out unhappy customers?
No. There is no sentiment screening, no pre-survey, and no fork in the road. The link is identical for every customer, regardless of how their experience went.
Can customers still leave negative reviews?
Yes. Customers can leave any rating and say anything Google’s policies allow. What X18Reviews helps with is responding well — not preventing honest feedback.
Does X18Reviews pay or incentivize customers to leave reviews?
No. X18Reviews does not offer, support, or encourage payments, discounts, or rewards in exchange for reviews — that is prohibited by Google’s policies and by our Terms of Service.
Your data
What Google information does X18Reviews use?
Basic account information for the connection, the list of locations your account manages, business information for those locations, your Google reviews and replies, and supported performance data — each used only for the corresponding feature. The full list, with reasons, is on the Google Data & Permissions page.
Does X18Reviews sell my Google data?
No. X18Reviews does not sell Google user data. Ever.
Does X18Reviews use my Google data for advertising?
No. Google user data is not used for advertising of any kind — not for targeting, not for profiling, not for ad measurement.
Does X18Reviews use my Google data to train AI models?
No. Google user data is not used to train generalized or shared AI or machine-learning models. When you request an AI-assisted draft, the review text is processed solely to create that draft.
How long is Google API data stored?
Content from the Google Business Profile API is treated as temporarily cached data, not a permanent archive — kept for up to 30 calendar days where applicable, and removed when you disconnect Google or delete your account. The authoritative copy always stays with Google.
Where can I learn more about how X18Reviews handles data?
The Google Data & Permissions page explains the Google connection in plain language, and the Privacy Policy covers everything in full.
Account
Can I disconnect my Google account?
Yes, at any time — from the settings area inside X18Reviews, or from your Google Account’s third-party access page. Step-by-step instructions are on the Data Deletion page.
Does disconnecting delete my Google Business Profile?
No. Disconnecting only stops X18Reviews’ access. Your Business Profile, your reviews, and everything else in your Google account remain exactly as they are.
Can I delete my X18Reviews account?
Yes. The Data Deletion page describes how to request deletion, what gets deleted, and what never gets touched — your Google Business Profile is never deleted.
How do I contact X18Reviews?
By email — the Contact page lists the right address for support, privacy, legal, and business inquiries, including support@x18reviews.com for general support.
