Data Deletion
How to disconnect Google and delete your X18Reviews account and data.
Last updated: September 16, 2026
There are two separate things you can do, and you can do either one without the other: disconnect your Google account from X18Reviews, or delete your X18Reviews account and its data entirely. This page walks through both.
Whichever you choose, one thing never changes: neither disconnecting nor deleting your X18Reviews account ever deletes your Google Business Profile or your Google reviews. Those live with Google and remain exactly as they are.
A. Disconnect your Google account
Disconnecting removes X18Reviews’ access to your Google Business Profile data while keeping your X18Reviews account. You can do it from either side of the connection.
From inside X18Reviews
- Sign in to X18Reviews.
- Open Settings.
- Go to Google Connection.
- Click Disconnect Google and confirm.
From your Google Account
- Open your Google Account.
- Go to Security.
- Open Third-party access (connections to third-party apps and services).
- Select X18Reviews and remove its access.
What disconnecting does
- Stops X18Reviews’ access to your Google Business Profile data.
- Removes cached Google API content (such as reviews and business information) from X18Reviews.
- Leaves your X18Reviews account itself intact — you can reconnect the same or a different Google account later.
What disconnecting does not do
- It does not delete your Google Business Profile.
- It does not delete or change your Google reviews or replies.
- It does not delete your X18Reviews account — see Part B for that.
B. Delete your X18Reviews account and data
Deleting your account removes your X18Reviews data entirely. To request deletion, email us at support@x18reviews.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Account deletion”. We will confirm the request and carry it out.
What gets deleted
- Your account information: your name, business email, and hashed password.
- Your settings and preferences within X18Reviews.
- Your reply drafts stored in X18Reviews.
- Cached Google API content associated with your account, such as reviews and business information, handled in line with Google’s requirements for API data.
What to know
- Google authorization is revoked separately. For certainty, also revoke X18Reviews from your Google Account’s third-party access page (Part A above) — that removes the grant on Google’s side too.
- Your Google Business Profile is never deleted. Deleting your X18Reviews account has no effect on your Business Profile, your reviews, or anything else in your Google account.
- Some records may be legally retained. Where the law requires us to keep specific records — for example billing or tax records, if paid plans exist — we retain only what is required, only for as long as required.
- Timeframe: deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request.
